I was contacted by Smiling Cosmos to direct the concept and final animation for the digital screens featured in an immersive experience celebrating the anniversary of Coca-Cola’s classic Contour bottle. The installation combined kinetic mechanical structures with digital animation, inviting viewers to travel through Coca-Cola’s history across its first century.

I was in charge of the art direction and full production of the digital screens representing the 1940s and 1990s.
For the 90s, I developed a novel animation approach that combined traditional pixel art characters with a fully 3D environment built entirely from voxels. For the 40s, we proposed a trompe-l'œil concept that simulated an old television set displaying a black-and-white animation within the screenspace.
Throughout the entire experience, users placed an acrylic bubble that continued its journey from decade to decade, traveling through a mix of mechanical set pieces and digital screens. The design intertwined physical and digital elements to guide the bubble through each chapter of Coca-Cola’s history.
